Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at John's Home Support- Private Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, with a maximum weight handling capacity of 45-60 kg (100-132 lbs).
