Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic - Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment, including presses, shafting, and conveyors.
  • Equipment Assembly and Alignment: Assemble and align machines and equipment, ensuring they are properly fastened to foundations or other structures.
  • Machine Repair and Lubrication: Repair and lubricate machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels of spare parts, lubricants, and other essential materials.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document and report all maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
  • Provincial Trade License: Possess a valid Provincial Trade License or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 3-5 years of experience maintaining metal stamping presses, coil feeding equipment, servo transfer systems, overhead cranes, compressors, and chillers. Knowledge of press room equipment, general fabrication, and machine rebuilding is required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Metal fabricating experience is essential. Ability to work with limited supervision and electrical background is an asset.
