About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team in Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns, and providing technical and project management leadership skills to team members.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and complete working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns.
  2. Provide technical and project management leadership skills to team members for Bookkeeping and Accounting projects and engagements.
  3. Assist in the direction and training of staff, reviewing completed files to ensure quality of work.
  4. Prioritize projects, establish budgets, and assign staff to meet client deadlines.
  5. Participate in delivering formal project/team performance review and/or giving effective input to reviewers on team members.
  6. Actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience with Notice to Readers or Assurance engagements, corporate and personal tax, and compilations.
  • Excellent skills in Accounting Software, with familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks, Caseware, Excel, and other tools.
