SRR Transport is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trans-border documentation.
- Weight Handling: Safely handle and transport goods weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
