Truck Driver

Alberta LTD is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Obtain Permits and Documents: Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
- Operate Trucks: Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and efficiently.
- Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Documentation: Familiarity with driver logbooks and other documentation
- Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract) and adherence to company safety policies
As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Alberta LTD, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying schedules and locations. You will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
