Position Overview

The Mountain View Christian Academy Society is seeking a dedicated High School Educator to join our academic team. This role is essential in shaping the minds of our students and fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a teaching role
Work Environment

This position is based in a private educational institution, providing a supportive and enriching atmosphere for both educators and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and evaluate homework to ensure student understanding
  • Prepare and present subject material in alignment with an approved curriculum
  • Develop, administer, and assess tests to measure student progress
  • Engage students through lectures, discussions, and multimedia presentations
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development
Certification Requirements

Candidates must possess a Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate and demonstrate relevant teaching qualifications.
