Position Overview

The Mountain View Christian Academy Society is seeking a dedicated High School Educator to join our academic team. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning environment and guiding students in their educational journey.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of teaching experience or equivalent.
Work Environment

This position is located in a private educational institution, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and evaluate homework to assess student understanding.
  • Develop and prepare instructional materials in accordance with the approved curriculum.
  • Administer and grade assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Deliver engaging lessons through various teaching methods including lectures, discussions, and practical activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their personal and academic development.
Certification Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.

Specialization

Applicants should have a focus on teacher training or certification.
