Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a ready-mix truck in a safe and effective manner, adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.
  • Complete mechanical pre-checks of all equipment prior to use.
  • Complete required paperwork in a timely and effective manner.
  • Slump, deliver, and discharge high-quality concrete to a wide variety of contractors and customers.
  • Maintain courteous customer relations.

Requirements

  • A Class 1 or 3 license with air endorsement in good standing.
  • Proven safety record while operating heavy equipment or trucks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills while working with customers.
  • Ability to understand and follow Company policies and procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations.
  • History of being a team player.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, hourly position in a high-paced environment that requires overtime shifts and weekend work. Hourly rates range from $28 to $38 per hour.

Physical Requirements

  • Strong arm, leg, and back fitness.
  • Ability to withstand physical demands of operating equipment.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
  • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
