Key Responsibilities:
1. Case Management Coordination
Manage and ensure equitable distribution of case loads among Case Managers, considering the complexity and nature of each case. Collaborate with fellow Supervisors to maintain a balanced workload across the Case Management team.2. Oversight of Case Management Staff
Guide Case Managers in delivering timely and appropriate support aligned with established programs and services. Ensure that services are accessible and provided in accordance with approved methodologies. Offer direct assistance or referrals to clients requiring additional support within the Supervisor's authority.3. Reporting and Data Management
Analyze and report on trends related to individual recovery and community resilience to enhance programming. Maintain accurate reports in compliance with CRC standards utilizing relevant systems and tools. Provide ongoing feedback regarding the performance of Case Managers.Qualifications:
A college degree in a relevant field, coupled with 2 to 4 years of experience in customer service, case management, disaster recovery, or health services. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Familiarity with customer service, disaster recovery, emergency management, community development, social work, or psychology. Experience in emergency settings is advantageous. Proven supervisory experience managing multiple staff members is essential. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and challenging environments. Proficiency in database systems is required; experience with EMIS is a plus. Completion of necessary training for this role, including Emergency Management Information System (EMIS) training, is mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and Adobe products. Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification. Current Psychological First Aid Certification or willingness to pursue training. Language proficiency in English or French is required; additional languages are an asset.Working Conditions:
Work is primarily conducted in a clean and comfortable environment. Potential involvement in disaster response areas and challenging conditions, including environmental and social factors. Health and safety protocols will be communicated prior to any assignments in response sites. Flexibility to work during non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary. Availability for on-call duties as scheduled. Willingness to respond to local and out-of-community assignments as required. Eligibility to work in Canada is essential; candidates must verify their work eligibility. Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment screening process, including a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC).#RegularRecruitment
