Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at ONE SUSHI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
- Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and perform other maintenance tasks as required.
- General Kitchen Duties: Assist with sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
