About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate elder care provider to join our family in Markham, Ontario. As a trusted member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing companionship, home care, hospice, and respite care for our loved one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and assist with personal care needs
- Provide companionship and ensure the comfort and well-being of our family member
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and snacks, and maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Communicate effectively with our family member, healthcare providers, and other caregivers
Requirements:
- Experience in elder care, preferably with a focus on medication administration and personal care
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate individual with a genuine passion for caring for the elderly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
