Primary Care Physician

As a vital member of the Care First Medical team, the Family Physician will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population. This position requires a commitment to promoting health and wellness while addressing the medical needs of individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment: Gather and evaluate medical histories from patients and their families to understand their health concerns.
- Health Evaluation: Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose diseases and injuries effectively.
- Wellness Promotion: Assist patients in developing and maintaining healthy lifestyle choices while helping them overcome detrimental habits.
- Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to formulate the best treatment plans.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to assess and enhance patients' physical and mental well-being.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments based on patient needs.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a strong advocate for patients, ensuring their healthcare needs are met.
- Acute Care Management: Provide immediate care for acute health issues as they arise.
- Education: Doctorate degree in medicine or equivalent qualifications.
- Certifications: Must possess College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
