Key Responsibilities- Curatorial Leadership: Provide curatorial leadership for the development and implementation of exhibitions, programs, and collections related to contemporary art.
- Collection Management: Oversee the acquisition, conservation, and management of contemporary art collections, ensuring their relevance and significance to our audience.
- Research and Interpretation: Conduct research and develop interpretive materials to enhance the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art.
- Collaboration and Community Engagement: Foster partnerships with artists, collectors, and other stakeholders to promote the gallery's mission and programs.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor curatorial staff, interns, and volunteers to ensure the successful execution of exhibitions and programs.
- Master's Degree: A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as art history, curatorial studies, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a curatorial role, with a proven track record of exhibition development, collection management, and community engagement.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Security Clearance: A criminal record check is required for this position.
