Machinist Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machine tools, including milling machines, shapers, and surface grinders.

Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to ensure accurate production
* Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to meet quality and productivity standards
* Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
* Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
* Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
* Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
* Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
* Operate machining tools to fabricate parts

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
* Other trades certificate or diploma
* or equivalent experience
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
