Qualifications
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a machining environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables accurately.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and components.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools effectively.
  • Assemble and fit components to precise tolerances.
  • Calibrate and maintain precision measuring instruments.
  • Document deviations from specifications and maintain inspection records.
  • Verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring tools.
  • Operate both conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Fabricate parts using various machining tools.
Tools and Equipment
  • Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Verniers
  • Machinery Experience: Milling machines, Shapers, Surface grinders, Universal grinders, Lathes
