About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Supplier Management operations. As the **Data Management Operations Manager**, you will be responsible for driving the governance of the supplier management function, ensuring administration, operations, and organization of the department are cohesive, efficient, and effective.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the operating model supporting the Supplier Management leaders and coordinating support to the Group and Corp operational teams.
  • Developing and implementing standardized guidelines, schedules, and ad hoc analysis and reports.
  • Communicating with stakeholders, including Regional Managers and Purchasing Leads.
  • Ensuring compliance with set standards, such as travel for staff according to departmental guidelines and the Magna Travel Policy.
  • Providing routine standard and ad hoc KPIs, statistics, and reports.
  • Suggesting practical solutions, alternatives, and improvements of the supplier management execution of resilience, supplier performance management, and adherence to supply chain regulatory and compliance requirements achievement.
  • Providing consistent regional and global support and engagement to Magna corporate, cross-functional, and group stakeholders and suppliers, fostering good working relationships.
  • Assisting with other various ad-hoc and cross-functional risk management projects and data analytics as identified.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of related work experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft suite of applications, Power BI, and other analysis and reporting applications.
  • Training or experience in key manufacturing elements such as quality, logistics, trade, tooling, and processes.
  • Experience working with large databases with exposure to an IT professional interface to develop solutions.
Preferred Qualifications

It would be beneficial if you have:

  • Demonstrated excellent knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI.
  • General understanding of Compliance, Supply Chain/Procurement, Operations, Environmental, and Health & Safety issues.
