EMCO Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industrial products, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Strategic Development Program.

About the Role

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive 5-phase program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in our dynamic business environment.

Program Highlights

  • Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics - Gain a deep understanding of our products, sales support, and logistics operations.
  • Phase 2: Counter/Operations - Develop expertise in customer service, sales, order management, inventory control, and financial analysis.
  • Phase 3: Inside Sales/Project Management - Progress to managing large-scale projects and providing exceptional customer support.
  • Phase 4: Outside Sales/Account Management - Learn to identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Phase 5: Career Advancement - Apply your skills and knowledge to determine your ideal career path within the company.

Requirements

  • College or University degree
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products is an asset
