Alarm System Technician Job Description

XON AUTOMATION LTD is seeking a skilled Alarm System Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults to provide effective solutions.
  • Adjust, align, replace, or repair electronic equipment and assemblies to meet quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed work orders, test reports, and maintenance records to track progress.
  • Develop cost estimates for projects and services to ensure accurate billing.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians to enhance team performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in electronic equipment service and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
