POSITION SUMMARY AND INSIGHTS

This remarkable position at Galvion is aimed at an experienced HR Business Partner - Director to enhance our Montreal Headquarters team. The role necessitates a physical presence in the office for a minimum of 50% of the time, ensuring active participation in a vibrant workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leading comprehensive recruitment processes and candidate evaluations in collaboration with our Talent Acquisition Manager, utilizing diverse strategies to attract exceptional talent and promote organizational development.

2. Assessing and upholding competitive compensation and benefits frameworks in accordance with legal requirements.

3. Managing timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure prompt salary disbursements to our Canadian workforce.

4. Partnering with business leaders to implement effective talent management practices.

5. Fostering a constructive work environment and addressing employee relations matters.

6. Promoting employee engagement throughout the organization in partnership with the Chief Human Resources Officer.

7. Advancing initiatives focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

8. Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial labor regulations and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.

• A positive demeanor, servant leadership attributes, and 7-10 years of experience in human resources.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation in Ontario and Quebec.

• Strong persuasive abilities and the capacity to foster collaboration and communication across all organizational tiers.

• Willingness to travel to the United States.

• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.

• Business insight and a service-oriented mindset towards workforce management.
