We are seeking a highly experienced Data Management Director to lead our data delivery efforts and champion data governance across our Core Banking and Payments line of business.

- Budget Management: Supervise teams of 10+ members and manage operating budgets of $2-5 million and capital budgets of approximately $5 million, ensuring resources are used effectively to meet business goals.
- People-Oriented Leader: Lead teams and manage organizational change, ensuring teams deliver on key business goals, and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize performance, mitigate risks, and capitalize on emerging technologies.
- Compliance-Oriented: Ensure team members follow CIBC's policies, guidelines, and controls while driving innovation and improvement.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in data management, architecture, leadership, team management, technology, risk, and budget management.
- Extensive experience in data management and delivery, particularly within the financial services industry.
- Subject matter expertise in data lifecycle management, data architecture, and implementing data delivery frameworks.
- Ability to analyze project risks, business strategies, and emerging technology trends.
