About the Role

Commercial Credit Adjusters Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Debt Recovery Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing contact with consumers and assisting with the resolution of delinquent accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish contact with consumers and assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts
  • Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines
  • Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options
  • Clearly document/update files on the system to support file activity
  • Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by ethically treating each consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity and respect at all times
Requirements
  • 3rd party collections experience considered an asset
  • Customer service and call centre experience considered an asset
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented
  • Sound decision making and judgement
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Dedicated and ethical
  • Ability to work individually and with a team in a fast paced environment
  • Solid computer skills
  • Strong grasp of the English language
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal record check
