Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Commission scolaire Central Québec / Central Québec School Board. As a Student Supervisor, you will play a key role in creating a positive and respectful educational environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Student Safety and Well-being: Maintain a vigilant presence in the school to guarantee compliance with rules and student safety, by making regular rounds, intervening if necessary and reporting any anomalies.
  • Act as a Point of Contact: Guide students and visitors, providing clear information on school regulations and policies.
  • Provide Support and Guidance: Assist students in need of extra support in a caring manner, whether for eating in the cafeteria, getting dressed, or getting around.
  • Collaborate with the Educational Team: Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure that student activities run smoothly and are supervised, and that the necessary resources are available.
  • Manage Administrative Tasks: Use IT tools to carry out administrative tasks, monitor activities, and manage student attendance data.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold a 5th year high school diploma or an attestation of studies with recognition of equivalence.
  • Experience: Possess one (1) year of relevant work experience favoring the development of a personal discipline, a basic understanding of psychology or human relations skills.
  • Language Skills: Have a good command of spoken English and a working knowledge of French.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid first aid certificate.
