About the Role

BrainStation, a global leader in digital skills training and workforce transformation, is seeking a Senior Web Developer to lead the delivery of our 12-week Web Development Diploma program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the latest web development technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lectures and workshops to students in our 12-week Web Development Diploma program.
  • Collaborate with our curriculum team to develop and refine our web development curriculum, ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant to industry needs.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to students, helping them build exciting projects using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of new content and resources to support student learning, including writing articles, creating videos, and designing interactive exercises.
  • Work closely with our Agile Education team to continuously improve the educational experience for students, incorporating feedback and best practices from industry experts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, applying your expertise to enhance our curriculum and teaching methods.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a web engineering role, with a strong background in core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with React, Node/Express, and databases, including relational and MongoDB.
  • Proven teaching or mentoring experience, with a passion for education and creating positive learning experiences for others.
  • A strong understanding of Agile Education methodologies and their application in educational settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
