About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at K-WOOD KITCHENS INC. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing purchasing policies and procedures to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Contract Management
    • Review and analyze purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery terms, and other contractual agreements.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Analyze and optimize the supply chain to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management, reduce lead times, and increase supply chain visibility.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to achieve business objectives and goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Business Acumen and Analytical Skills
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's business operations, including financials, sales, and marketing.
    • Analyze data and metrics to inform procurement decisions and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
