Financial Records Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Technician to manage and maintain our financial records at Grand River Granite LTD. This permanent role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and proficiency in English.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare payroll cheques accurately.
- Asset Management: Assess fixed assets and their depreciation.
- Financial Record Keeping: Establish, maintain, and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee general ledgers and financial statements.
- Journal Entries: Post necessary journal entries.
- Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Trial Balance: Prepare trial balances of books.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in:
- MS Excel

- QuickBooks
- MS Office Suite
This role requires:
