About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at R&S CITY CONTRACTORS INC. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including posting journal entries, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize accounting software and other computer systems to perform financial tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Urban area.
