Director, Business Solutions

Capilano University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Business Solutions to lead the development and implementation of our enterprise digital ecosystem and software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to design, deliver, and maintain the university-wide enterprise digital ecosystem and software architecture.
  • Collaborate across the university to modernize the current digital ecosystem and software architecture, reducing technical debt and improving decision-making capabilities.
  • Support a culture of data-informed decision making by collaborating with respective departments/areas to enable the development of standards and improve access to data.
  • Provide direction for implementing, managing, and maintaining an ERP system, developing integrations between systems, and fostering collaboration with faculty and administrative staff to identify business process improvements.
  • Manage and maintain university websites from a development and infrastructure perspective, engaging in continuous improvement of enterprise business systems.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with 5 years in a leadership role with direct responsibility for enterprise business systems.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Progressive technical knowledge of ERP platforms, development standards, and data governance.
