Key Responsibilities


• Maintain a positive and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers in person.


• Efficiently sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and promptly.


• Develop and retain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery points.


• Ensure the secure handling of mail during delivery.

Additional Responsibilities

Process various Canada Post products and services, including Change of Address Notifications and Damaged Mail. Display Canada Post identification visibly while delivering and collecting mail. Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lb/22.7 kg. Demonstrate experience in making deliveries and operating a vehicle under varying weather and traffic conditions.

Important Information

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following vehicle requirements:

Possess a satisfactory safe driving record. Hold a valid permanent provincial driver's license - class 5 or G. Have a minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1415 liters). Ensure your vehicle has automatic transmission and power windows. Your vehicle should have a metal roof-top and accessory power outlet for Canada Post signage. The height of the passenger window sill must be between 38" and 45" from the ground, with a maximum interior width of 56". A fifth door or hatchback is preferred for accommodating oversized items. Maintain required automobile liability insurance for your vehicle. Inform your insurance provider of your vehicle's use while employed at Canada Post.

Note: To be considered, you will need to pass a pre-employment assessment and an interview.
