Food Service Supervisor

Family Pizza Humboldt is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
- Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory and reduce costs.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Permanent employment with a flexible schedule (35 to 40 hours per week).
- Proficiency in English as the primary language of communication.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the success of the team.
