Job Title: Produce Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Clerk to join our team at Longo's. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a high level of product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stock, merchandise, and create visually appealing displays of produce to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Prepare products for sale, including cutting, wrapping, and labeling.
  • Maintain product quality by conducting regular date checks and product rotation.
  • Follow Food, Health, and Workplace Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Passion for working in the food industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Work Environment:

This role is performed in a store retail environment, with regular exposure to a variety of products and equipment. The successful candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends, as required.
