Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
  • Keep the checkout area clean and organized, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding loss prevention and health and safety
  • Perform other related tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the store
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, with occasional outdoor work
  • Experience with cash register systems an asset
