Job Title: Retail Sales Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Clerk to join our team at 31 Shoe Avenue Inc.

Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process sales transactions, handling cash, credit card, and debit payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including displaying products and creating attractive store displays.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including updating inventory levels and processing sales data.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
