Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Double C Truck Stop. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, as well as managing the kitchen staff and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Operations: Plan, prepare, and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Management: Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen operations and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all menu items are prepared to order and presented in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Restaurant setting with a fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
