We are currently looking for a Heavy Machinery Maintenance Specialist to support our operations. The Heavy Machinery Maintenance Specialist will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of construction, aggregate/crushing units, pavers/compaction, and forestry-related machinery and attachments in both workshop and field settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the operational status of heavy-duty equipment, diagnose issues, disassemble/assemble machinery, procure necessary parts, and execute repairs efficiently.
- Utilize secondary materials and tools safely and effectively.
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble industrial machinery and mechanical systems in accordance with specifications.
- Employ hoisting equipment to position machinery and components during assembly, installation, and repair processes.
- Conduct tests and provide constructive evaluations on both existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment.
- Inspect, diagnose, and rectify faults in machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating machinery.
- Generate electronic inspection and service documentation.
- Utilize parts catalogs to identify and order parts from inventory personnel.
- Conduct road tests on equipment and verify attachment functionality as needed.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Essential Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with customers, service teams, and branch staff.
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Experience
- Prior mechanical experience in a heavy equipment setting is advantageous.
- Certification as a Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician trade or an equivalent recognized trade is preferred.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and service excellence is essential.
