Job Summary:

Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing quotes, developing proposals, and securing purchase orders/contracts for building owners, contractors, and tenders opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed quotes and proposals for fire protection projects, including reviewing drawings/specifications and developing cost estimates.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and liaise with consultants, engineers, general contractors, and site supervisors.
  • Coordinate the preparation of drawings, material lists, safety plans, and field installation with site crews.
  • Manage projects to successful and profitable completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative solutions for fire protection projects.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field of study.
  • 427A Sprinkler Fitter Certificate is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design, installation, sales, or project management in the fire protection industry.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
