Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Fastenal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining branch inventory, receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain branch inventory
  • Receive, pick, package, ship, and cycle count inventory
  • Make local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
  • Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50 pounds and may weigh up to 75 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting, or managing inventory
