Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets to create walls and ceilings, ensuring accurate measurements and secure fastening to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Tape joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Apply successive coats of compound to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks, and smooth out excess compound to create a smooth surface.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids.
  • Fill and smooth surfaces to create a high-quality finish.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with exposure to dust and other construction materials.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
