Job Title: Truck Driver

Join BEST CHOICE TRUCKING LTD as a skilled Truck Driver and contribute to the success of our transportation team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and adhering to all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including a driver logbook.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
