Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license and a strong understanding of transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
