Building Control Systems Engineer

Job Description Mission
CIMA+ is seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop automatic regulation systems in building mechanics. As a key member of our engineering team, you will participate in the creation of high-quality technical analyses, reports, and recommendations. Your expertise will be essential in conducting surveys, determining construction costs, and participating in the resolution of technical problems.
This role offers a dynamic work environment where initiative and trust are encouraged. You will be part of a team of enthusiastic professionals working on challenging projects. Our hybrid work model allows you to work from home, our offices, or a combination of both.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop drawings and specifications for automatic regulation systems in building mechanics.
- Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established drawings and specifications.
- Conduct surveys and studies, and write technical reports.
- Participate in the resolution of technical problems.
- Write progress reports and contribute to drawing up action plans.
- Participate in partial supervision of construction work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical buildings engineering or equivalent.
- Membership or eligibility in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- A minimum of three years' relevant experience in building automatic regulation.
- Fluency in spoken and written French.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
- ASP Construction card.
- LEED certification or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles (an asset).
