Housekeeping Room Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at ASHCROFT APARTMENTS AND MOTEL. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our rooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Vacuum and clean carpets, area rugs, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Make beds and change sheets to maintain a clean and comfortable sleeping area.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests, ensuring they have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
  • Stock linen closets and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure that guests' belongings are returned to them.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week of work.
