Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 3059308 Nova Scotia Ltd. o/a HI Dartmouth. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Data Management: Manage and maintain accurate financial data, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheet software. Basic security clearance and willingness to travel.
This is a permanent position, working 30 to 48 hours per week. Free parking is available. The work language is English.
