Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team at Nova Scotia Ltd. o/a HI Dartmouth. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and managing accounts receivable and payable.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and record financial transactions, including journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing clients and processing payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and spreadsheets
- Perform general accounting duties, such as preparing trial balances and financial reports
- Assist with payroll processing and preparation of payroll reports
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
