The Role

The Avionics Install Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the installation of avionics systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and on time. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize installation resources and workload to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
  • Analyze and modify work methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure the safety of shop personnel by implementing and enforcing proper safety procedures.
  • Supervise and train shop personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Respond to customer needs and concerns, and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure that all work meets the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments of operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the shop's capabilities and services.

Requirements

  • Transport Canada Certified AME-E License required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience in the avionics industry.
  • Prior supervisory experience is an asset.
