About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their full potential by architecting and deploying SAP solutions on leading cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design highly scalable, resilient, and secure SAP landscapes that leverage cloud-native services for optimization of performance, cost, and manageability.
  • Collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams and provide advanced technical knowledge to aligned GTM teams to unblock customer challenges.
  • Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards, and collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy.
  • Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to customers, and create field enablement materials for the broader SA population.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
  • ~7+ years of management of technical, customer-facing resources.
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
