In this pivotal role within Coveo Solutions Inc., you will take charge of our Platform Engineering division. As a Senior Manager, you will guide and support the Transformation and Enablement team.

This team plays a crucial role in ensuring that the best practices and technologies developed by the unit are effectively utilized by all our software development teams.

Your daily responsibilities will include advising developers, integrating innovative solutions, and exploring new methodologies. The primary objective of the Platform Engineering division is to enhance developer experience and productivity by equipping internal development teams with reusable infrastructure, services, software components, and tools.

Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a skilled team of engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance assessments.

Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the division's leadership and stakeholders to create the team's roadmap in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Oversee the team and projects utilizing Agile methodologies.

Technical Oversight:
- Supervise technical decisions and work closely with the team to determine the most effective technical strategies.
- Champion the adoption of best practices in Platform Engineering.

Software Development:
- Ensure timely project delivery by providing hands-on assistance when necessary.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Previous leadership experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • A background in a DevOps or similar technical role.
  • The ability to maintain composure in complex situations, particularly on high-visibility projects.
  • Experience in a technical leadership capacity, including mentoring, hiring, vision and roadmap development, and project management.
  • Proficiency in implementing Agile processes and best practices.
