Your future team:

This position reports to the Director of Product Management & Strategy and collaborates closely with various teams including Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Technical, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

The Market Insights Analyst will be tasked with conducting market research and analysis; collecting, monitoring, and interpreting market data, reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives across both Marketing and Sales divisions. You will assist in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to broaden our North American presence while ensuring that strategic processes and decisions are backed by data-driven insights.

  • Facilitate strategic decision-making by delivering insights on opportunities and challenges.
  • Oversee marketing intelligence operations, including monthly reporting and competitive performance dashboards.
  • Aid in the preparation of strategy presentations for internal executive audiences.
  • Conduct market analysis and insights by compiling, monitoring, and analyzing construction and insulation markets, along with relevant economic data, news, developments, and trends. Generate insights to understand their potential impact on ROCKWOOL's market position.
  • Establish and manage internal intelligence and knowledge-sharing processes and reports.
  • Monitor competitors' performance and news.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and research on market size and positioning.
  • Assess and track insulation market size with detailed segmentation and forecasts.
  • Determine ROCKWOOL's market share in various segments and identify opportunities.
  • Manage the internal MSA tool in collaboration with ROCKWOOL Group.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management Team to provide insights on key market sectors to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assist in product rationalization and analysis to ensure existing products meet the needs of target market sectors.
  • Support the development and implementation of segment strategies through research and analysis.
  • Coordinate primary research, working with internal stakeholders and external firms to design and execute research projects.
  • Liaise with other North American operations where relevant.
  • Provide analytical support to the marketing and management teams.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in market insights, finance, or data-driven consulting.
  • A degree in Business or Economics (master's degree is a plus).
  • Experience in the building materials or construction sector.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with business systems; experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
