Position Overview

Reporting to the IT Security Architecture Manager, the Cloud Security Solutions Architect is tasked with the design and implementation of security solutions, providing expert advice on projects primarily focused on cloud environments (AWS and Azure). The key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing security requirements for IT initiatives
  • Defining and evolving security services
  • Engaging in the selection of security solutions
  • Contributing to the formulation of security strategies and initiatives
  • Developing and executing the cloud security program

Key Responsibilities

The role involves the implementation of essential cloud security components across various cloud-related projects. Specific tasks include:

  • Collaborating with diverse IT teams
  • Providing comprehensive security analyses on various issues
  • Understanding the business implications of compliance requirements such as Exostar, GDPR, ITAR, and SOX
  • Managing team-related tasks
  • Executing technical responsibilities as necessary
  • Effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a Cloud Security Architect role
  • Strong knowledge and experience in IT Security, infrastructure, and telecommunications
  • Familiarity with security architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA)
  • Certifications such as AZ 303, AZ 500, AWS Solutions Architect, and AWS Cloud Security are advantageous
  • Understanding of IT control frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO) and IT General Controls
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
  • Proven advisory skills on IT projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and customer-centric approach
  • Results-driven with a commitment to meeting objectives
