We are seeking a Loan Funding Specialist to oversee traditional residential and commercial construction financing, inventory financing, and equity mezzanine financing. The main duties involve managing mortgage disbursements in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring precise data management, assessing potential risks, and safeguarding loan integrity. This position also requires the handling of loan disbursements and Letters of Credit, delivering outstanding customer support, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and process loan documentation
  • Establish construction financing
  • Collaborate with external entities for necessary documentation
  • Confirm pre-funding criteria
  • Accurately record financial transactions
  • Generate loan discharge documentation
  • Facilitate Letters of Credit transactions
  • Oversee loan payment processing and cash management
  • Support risk management and compliance initiatives

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in commercial banking
  • Legal expertise is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of commercial mortgages and funding processes
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to perform under pressure
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Fluency in English; bilingualism is a plus
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
