As a Facilities Integrity Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the API 650 Tank Program, ensuring the operational safety and reliability of our systems.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing enhancements to existing programs, focusing on data management, integrity assessments, trend analysis, and addressing regulatory challenges while spearheading new initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with the API 650 Specialist and other Facility Integrity engineers to identify improvement opportunities and plan the scope of work for future years, guided by regulatory requirements, risk assessments, and engineering principles.In addition, you will execute special projects as they arise, which may involve compliance, threat assessments, integrity management plan development, and engineering evaluations.
These projects are often essential to meet regulatory requests or specific deadlines.Collaboration is key, as you will work with Facilities Integrity Planning and internal partners, including Regional Operations, Engineering, and inspection execution teams, to ensure project designs meet all integrity requirements.
Support will also be provided in reviewing project designs to guarantee they align with integrity standards, facilitating safe and reliable systems that are less susceptible to integrity issues and can be easily inspected when necessary.
A Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution is required.You should possess strong technical skills, a willingness to learn, and project or program management capabilities, although a PMP designation is not mandatory.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information to a diverse audience, including employees and various levels of management.
Proficiency in data management and the ability to interpret the implications of regulatory and technical issues for the company are also necessary.The role is primarily office-based, with limited travel required for planning and overseeing field maintenance activities, including travel to the USA, which is expected to be around 10 – 15% of your time.
Please note that company-paid international relocation is not available for this position.
